As a regular gym goer and hoodie wearer, it has always been a major annoyance for me that hoodies always cover up the work I put in at the gym. They are typically baggy, oversized, and all round not the fit I like from my clothing. This has led me, over the last few years, to look for the best brands offering athletic fit hoodies that will keep me warm without making it look like I put on an additional 10 pounds out of nowhere. Best Overall: State and Liberty Kit Cotton-Silk Hoodie

State and Liberty absolutely deserves the top spot on our list seeing as how their whole company was founded to help built guys look their best. I love this hoodie, it is cut in just the right way to give room in the chest but hug your arms and slim up your torso to provide a great look. The material is super high end as well, you can just tell they did ont cut corners. I wear this hoodie before workouts, around the house, and on casual nights out. This is truly my go to hoodie for most things and I have no doubts about purchasing mine!

Mugsy: Moss Cashmere Hoodie

Prior to finding State and Liberty, Mugsy had my favorite hoodie. They still are my go to brand when I need to prioritize comfort above all else. Their Cashmere blend on this hoodies is incredible! It has a nice stretch to it which hugs your body but feels softer than any blanket I have ever flet. I am a big fan of their moss colorway but if green isn’t your thing you can buy their Cashmere hoodie and many colors, to go with any outfit. I certainly think every guy should have one of these in their wardrobe.

WOLACO: High Line Hood

If you are a runner, listen up! WOLACO is the brand for you! They offer lots of tight-fitting clothes, that are weather resistant, and have reflective or bright colors which can help protect you from cars if you run outdoors. Their High Line hoodie is not exception. It has tons of pockets to help fit anything you need with a snug fit and a light weight material. This is one of my favorite hoodies to run in or workout in since it doesn’t weigh you down and still shows off your pump well.

Lululemon: Soft Jersey Pullover Hoodie

I didn’t want to keep this whole article as boutique retailers so here is one of the biggest retailers of athletic apparel around, Lululemon. I spent a long time trying to find my favorite hoodie from this brand but I think it is the Jersey Pullover. It is made of an extremely soft and stretchy material that can go over anything and match with everything. I don’t typically wear this one to the gym but if you just need a great casual hoodie or want to shop in stores, check this one out!

Gymshark: Heratige Lined Hoodie

Gymshark is one of the biggest online clothing stores for all things gym apparel and also one of my favorite brands for gym clothes. Their Heratige hoodie is the perfect pump cover. It comes in an oversized fit to help conceal your pump and is super wam and comfortable. I love the simple washed design and minimalist logo on the front with the full name on the back. This is a great pick for body builders especially who typically need more room in their hoodies.
