Alright boys, it’s jogger season, so I had to get a fresh blog up for you to make a pick before you grab those fall joggers. Good news is, I tested a bunch of pairs earlier this year and can let you know which ones are the best out of those. Video on that below.
Bad news is, some of those pairs are no longer available, so it narrows the list down a bit. On the good news train again, I’m planning to test some new ones soon, so I’ll update this ASAP.
But for now, enjoy my rankings breakdown for the best joggers I’ve tried so far.
How I Tested The Joggers?
Testing for me always starts with some online research. I usually check out the sites I like to buy from to see what joggers they have, then I’ll do some Google and TikTok searches to get ideas on what’s worth trying. Once I get the products, it’s a pretty simple process. I wear them everywhere: to the gym, running errands, working from home, or just lounging on the couch.
I also run them through the washer to see how they hold up. I usually give it a few months of wear before coming back with my honest opinions, as always.
How I Ranked the Best Men’s Jogger
There are certainly many factors you can evaluate but I tried to keep it simple by just grading the following:
- Style: Are they on trend? Do they look good? Do they have a lot of color options?
- Comfort: Self-explanatory
- Fit: Do they fit well? Is the waistband firm? etc.
- Value: Is the product worth the price?

Legends | 7.9/10
If you haven’t seen my Legends review, check it out. This brand’s pretty hype, and I dig what they’re doing. The joggers are definitely a top product. Super comfortable, feels like you’re almost wearing nothing. Stealthy fit, hugs like a glove, but still looks good. Not the warm and toasty pair it’s more of a performance style (they’ve got perforations on the back), but still really comfy and fits great.
Mott & Bow | 7.9/10
I really like these because they’re the most traditional cotton-style joggers on the list. They give off those fall lounging vibes and have that premium heavyweight cotton feel. It’s more of a casual, laid-back, trendy style right now, and I like the simple colors like heather grey and black. Bad news is, they don’t make this version anymore. They switched to a performance stretch one, which I haven’t tried yet.
Twillory | 7.5/10
These are an interesting blend. They look like that classic cotton style but with performance stretch. They’re pretty comfortable and fit well. The biggest thing they’ve got going for them is the huge sale right now, which definitely boosted their ranking. Looks like they’re getting rid of these, so I’d scoop a pair now if you want a solid jogger at a good price.
Mugsy | 7.1/10
Mugsy is another one of my favorite brands. They’ve got the best athletic fit jeans of all time, hands down, case closed. The joggers are solid too, but I wasn’t in love with the style of the pair I got. Not sure if it’s because of the color, they’re kind of an off-black, but the good news is they’ve got a bunch of other styles and variations I still need to try.
Overall, these are a super comfy, solid pair I’ve worn a lot. I grabbed a size medium and they fit well, a bit thicker, have some weight to them, and will keep you fairly warm. They’re a cotton-dominant blend with rayon and a touch of spandex. Solid pair overall.
WOLACO | 7/10
The Warren Pant by Wolaco was one of my favorites. Biggest downside is they’re not on the site right now, so they lose some points there. But I’ve always enjoyed these. They’ve got more of that Legends performance vibe. Super comfy, stretchy, and they fit great. Since Wolaco is a running brand, these definitely lean toward activewear joggers.
They’ve got zippers at the bottom to make it easy to get your feet in and out, which I like. Overall, great joggers, just need them to be available again. Nice, firm waistband too, which is solid for running and carrying stuff.
State & Liberty | 5.5/10
Y’all already know I love S&L. They’ve got the best athletic fit dress shirts, suits, and more. But not gonna lie, I was slightly disappointed with the joggers. I don’t think they’re bad, just a bit different. The material is pretty thin, so they’re not warm or cozy, definitely more of a stretchy warm-weather pair in my opinion.
They do have that signature athletic fit, but they’re a bit snug, especially around the ankles, and kind of tough to get on and off. Not a bad pair overall, but I’m hoping they launch a V2 soon because I know they can do better based on how good their other stuff is.
DUER | 4.8/10
I’m not a huge fan of the Duer joggers. They’re not particularly comfortable in my opinion, and they ride a little high since they only come in a 29 inseam. On top of that, they only have one colorway available right now and are the most expensive on the list. So while they’re not terrible, they get outranked by everyone else just based on the comparison of what’s here so far.
Men’s Joggers FAQs
What are the most comfortable joggers?
When it comes to comfort, Legends and Mott & Bow scored among the highest. If you’re looking for a traditional cotton jogger, go with Mott & Bow. For a polyester activewear option, Legends is super comfortable.
What are the best joggers for the gym or working out?
I’d go with the Legends joggers for the gym. They have the best waistband, are super lightweight, breathable, and really comfortable.
Can I wear joggers going out?
I wouldn’t recommend wearing joggers out. They’re very casual and best for running errands, walking the dog, hitting the gym, or just chilling. If you’re going out with the guys or on a date, step it up with jeans, chinos, or trousers depending on the occasion.
Conclusion
My conclusion here is that the verdict isn’t over yet. I tested most of these a while back and had to throw them on again to refresh my memory and get this piece up. I’ll be trying some other brands this fall and winter, so check back soon, I’ll update this with more options as I go.
For now, there are definitely some solid picks on this list. Hit me up on IG if you’ve got suggestions for me to try!
